ABOUT FSN™

All parents are faced with the challenge of nurturing growth and development in their children. Families with children who have special needs often face additional challenges, including stress, social isolation, and financial strain. These additional challenges can sometimes make it difficult to navigate the service system for their child as well as find social and emotional support for themselves. The Family Support Network™ of Southeastern North Carolina is here to help.

At Family Support Network™ of SENC, our mission is to provide training, resources, and education to empower families in Southeastern North Carolina to advocate for their children who have special healthcare needs or disabilities. We accomplish this through parent-to-parent connections, resources and referrals, parenting training, and educational advocacy.

Each of our staff members and peer-to-peer support team have navigated the rocky terrain of special needs, and we are experienced and ready to help.
