Tri County Community Collaborative

The mission of the Tri-County Community Collaborative is to serve as a resource for area families in need of support and services, as well as professionals in organizations providing these supports and services. They advocate for children, youth and families through education, community connections and networking of all organizations that enhance wellness in our community. They empower families to access and connect with individualized, family-centered, community, focused supports and services. They strive to promote a non-judgmental, family-driven and youth-guided approach to navigating a path to wellness.

Brunswick County Local Interagency Coordinating Council

The Brunswick County Local Interagency Coordinating Council advocates for the development and implementation of a comprehensive and coordinated system of health, developmental, social, and education services.

Trillium Health Resources

Trillium Health Resources is a local governmental agency (LME/MCO) that manages serious mental health, substance use, and intellectual/developmental disability services in eastern North Carolina. We partner with health care providers and community stakeholders to build and strengthen foundations of well-being, provide individuals with the resources to weather life’s storms, and help deepen connections between citizens and their communities. Together with our partners and state leadership, we are invested in the future of the public behavioral health system for the benefit of our region.

Text4baby

Text4baby is the first mobile information service designed to promote maternal and child health through text messaging. Text4baby is a free service provided by nonprofit, ZERO TO THREE (ZTT), and Voxiva, Inc.

Women who text BABY (or BEBE for Spanish) to 511411 receive three free text messages a week, timed to their due date or their baby’s birth date, through pregnancy and up until the baby’s first birthday. The messages address topics such as labor signs and symptoms, prenatal care, urgent alerts, developmental milestones, immunizations, nutrition, birth defect prevention, safe sleep, safety, and more.

North Carolina Rated License Assessment Project

The North Carolina Star Rated License Project was established in 1999 to better define the quality of child care in the state and to assist parents in choosing child care. The North Carolina Division of Child Development awards the Star Rated License to child care centers, family child care homes, and school-age programs. As of January, 2008 the NC Star Rated License is based upon total points earned within two components: program standards and staff education.
